I definitely need to loosen up my chains.lizzziehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02695502871343207410noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2863626786264728745.post-28792094207157533972014-03-19T21:47:27.939-07:002014-03-19T21:47:27.939-07:00I knew I was forgetting something! That would be nice, to have the two loops to crochet into at the end - I always get lost trying to seam or add edging. lizzziehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02695502871343207410noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2863626786264728745.post-43187104919017646802014-03-18T18:09:32.527-07:002014-03-18T18:09:32.527-07:00I voted! ~Kelly

Using an inline hook would really help and practice relaxing the yarn tension as you crochet. If you don't know about tapered vs inline here's a place to see what I'm talking about: http://nerdigurumi.com/guide-to-crochet-hooks.html txmommyladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09415735643991766337noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2863626786264728745.post-78658672933754237582014-03-18T09:24:51.320-07:002014-03-18T09:24:51.320-07:00My way isn't on there :) I crochet into the b...My way isn't on there :) I crochet into the back bump. That way the resulting edge is a finished looking 2-loop crochet stitch. If I'm going to add an edging, I prefer having the two lps to work into, because the edging "hugs" the piece better. I'm writing a pattern where the first row is worked in the back bumps (as I usually do), and working around, the row is worked in the back loop of the two lps to create a ridge effect that I want. I added specific instructions to do so, however, because if you research "How to Crochet" tutorials, they show the 1st row being worked in the front lp and back bump.txmommyladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09415735643991766337noreply@blogger.com
